USPS

The United States Postal Service (USPS) also known as Post Office, U.S. Mail, or Postal Service was established back in 1971 and is currently headquartered in Washington DC. As of 2017, USPS operates around 31,000 post offices and locations in the U.S., and delivers around 149.5 billion pieces of mail annually.

USPS is one of the largest postal system delivering around 47% of World’s total mail. For USPS, the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the busiest time of the year delivering around 900 million mails and packages during that period.

USPS also has a joint postal system with the US Department of Defence to deliver mail for the military called Army Post Office. USPS also has the service of International Money Orders where you can instantly send money in a convenient and secure way.
